Transportation

The Transportation Committee brings together all of the infrastructure interests in our community, including the County of El Paso, City Department of Planning, the El Paso Metropolitan Planning Organization, the City Street Department, the Texas Department of Transportation, the Camino Real Regional Mobility Authority, Borderland Mobility Coalition, the other state and federal elected officials, and private sector members who have an interest in the infrastructure industry.

The objective of the committee is to partner with other community transportation initiatives to promote and advance transportation issues and concerns of the El Paso community as well as maintain a strong presence in the development of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Border Improvement Plan (BIP) and the Major Thoroughfare Plan.

Committee meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 4:00PM at the Greater Chamber of Commerce.
