Vote El Paso

The Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce is proud to host Vote El Paso . The main goal of Vote El Paso is to get employers, employees and stakeholders to vote, and to help them make informed decisions at the polls. Vote El Paso promotes good government through educating employers and stakeholders about policies that affect their businesses, and by providing them with essential tools that allow them to make decisions and shape public policy.

America works best when Americans vote. Nevertheless, the percentage of eligible voters who cast their ballots continues to decline election after election.  According to a study by Northwestern University 's Medill School of Journalism, 23 million Americans contacted an elected official over a two year period, yet still did not go vote!  We think something needs to be done.

The Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce provides the business community with access to the Vote El Paso program, which serves as companies' political toolkit. Through Vote El Paso , businesses get information and tools necessary to make it to the polls and to cast an informed vote. The Vote El Paso web-based tools offer information on candidates, non-partisan voter education, and voting guides at the local, state and federal levels. The toolkit also includes information on voter registration, early voting, absentee ballot information, voting locations, and forms  for every state in the union and the District of Columbia .  Voters can also locate and contact their elected officials Vote El Paso also provides information on various policy issues related to employees and businesses.

Vote El Paso will never tell employees how to vote; however, it provides ample information to help them make policy decisions about the matters that affect them and their industries in various areas. Those areas include but are not limited to economic growth, tax policy, trade, technology, energy, health care and homeland security.

The Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce is committed to the Vote El Paso project, to get voters to register, show up at the polls and make informed decisions. The Chamber is confident that Vote El Paso will increase voter turnout and will significantly aid voters in making well informed decisions at the polls. Voting matters, as America works best when Americans vote-and informed, well educated voters become active participants in their own future.
