Congratulations to Prudential on Their “Best for Vets” Top 25 Ranking!
The Military Times recently released its 2020 ranking of “Best for Vets” employers, and this year’s top 25 includes Prudential Financial. The rankings are the result of a comprehensive survey administered by the Military Times focused on several factors related to how companies recruit and cultivate talent from the service veteran pool. The survey also collects information on how a company treats reservist servicemembers as well as how corporate culture is connected to military training and skill sets.
With its 18,000+ employees, Prudential scored high on categories like “support for attainment of civilian credentials,” “employment support for Guard and Reserve employees,” and “recruitment and employment practices.” As the survey notes: “Prudential helps veterans transition to the civilian workforce and recruit veterans and military spouses. Prudential also provides insurance products that are specially designed for active military members and supports the missions of military-related organization.”
“We are pleased to congratulate Prudential on this superb ranking and to support their commitment to America’s servicemembers and their spouses,” said Chamber President and CEO David Jerome, adding, “Our board member Shawn Ollis, Vice President of Operations for Prudential in El Paso, is a shining example of the company’s commitment to service members, their spouses, and veterans. He is one of the most vocal advocates for our own Chamber efforts toward veterans and comes to the table with his company’s support and understanding.”
