EPC Supports the Arena Development

The downtown multipurpose center (MPC), sometimes referred to as the arena project, is one step closer to realization after the Texas Supreme Court recently declined to hear a case seeking to prevent its construction. The downtown multipurpose center was originally approved by voters in the 2012 Quality of Life bond, and the Chamber has been a staunch advocate for its construction.

The Chamber believes that the MPC represents a tremendous economic opportunity—not only for downtown but for the secondary and tertiary businesses the MPC will benefit.
