Leadership El Paso
Leadership El Paso (LEP) is the city’s premier leadership incubator. A yearlong community immersion course providing key decision makers and class participants with an outlet to pair candid discussion and creative ideas. Which establishes participants as active contributors to the El Paso community, while forging new partnerships and influential networks. Over the years, Leadership El Paso classes have dedicated their time and efforts to a class project. These projects have led to many thousands of dollars being raised for several organizations of need in our community. It also led to the creation of Junior Leadership, a program for high school juniors that follows much of the same curriculum of the adult leadership program.
Beneficiaries of various class projects include: El Paso Opportunity Center, Homerun for the Homeless, Child Crisis Center, El Paso Center of Children, and YWCA Sara McKnight TLC, One City One Need, Center Against Family Violence, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and many others.
Class XLII: 42 & YOU
This year, Leadership Class 42 developed an initiative aimed at supporting the El Paso community through the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. We are partnering with Operation H.O.P.E to raise funds for groceries and other basic needs for families that may have been affected by the pandemic. Additionally, LEP 42 will be encouraging the community to donate blood and organizing blood drives to help meet the increased need.
