Born in Juárez and raised in El Paso, Gladys has always been an advocate for the border community; she embraces her responsibilities at the Chamber as an opportunity to engage with the community she calls home.
After graduating from Coronado High School, Gladys went on to study marketing at the University of Phoenix. Her professional experience spans 10 years in hospitality, marketing, business development, and event planning, including her role as sales manager of the Hotel Paso del Norte opening team.
Currently serving as our Director of Membership Acquisition, Gladys helps businesses grow their network through EPC’s four pillars: Connecting, Coaching, Advocating, and Innovating. As an expert at connecting people and helping them reach their professional and business goals, she works to recruit and acquire new members as well as assist with organizing sponsorships. Prior to joining our staff, Gladys had been a member of EPC for ten years, giving her unique insight into membership experience and ultimately assisting in the evolution of EPC membership today.
When she’s not in the office, one can find Gladys running, spending time with her pets, or (most often) shopping. Fashion plays an immense role in her everyday life and there is no question as to who is the best dressed in the office!
